Does GP calculate actual cost, related to the progress of a task?
To get the actual cost ¿is it as simple as TotalCost x %completeness?

The cost is a sum of (resource payment rate \* resource load \* task duration) for all assigned resources. No other costs are available in GP

So… to clarify…
Would it be possible to split costs across days or months?
Exporting to CSV in Excel?

I am looking to something similar in MS Project, as shown below,

I don’t understand what do you mean when you say “would it be possible”. If you meant to ask if it is possible now then no, sorry. If you meant to ask would it be possible in the future, then I don’t know. It depends on the demand, available time, other plans, and thousand of other things.

“Would it be possible?” meant to ask as “can some expert help me to find a workaround in GP to do?”
But if the feature is not available, no expert can help.
Thank you again, Dmitry!

I would be also interested to have EVM calculation in GP.

how does this work?
I have a task that has 6000 resource cost and if I enter 0%, 50%, or 100%, or even if I put the completion date in 2030, the calculated cost is ALWAYS 6000. There’s no calculation of either time or completion.

Please share the project file or a screenshot of the resource properties of the task in question.

So, I am still hoping with the new v3.4 version, if there are any updates on how to get a Planned Cost, maintain the current cost (to today) and compare the difference both in costs and schedule progress. Would custom fields be able to cover this?

FYI. May be using AI externally might calculate outside GP.
