I use gantt from some years and it’s ok for the use I do. The only “problem” is that is not possible (or I don’t know how to do it) to put in order my activities for columns. I explane better: I’d like to put in order for example from A to Z or from Z to A all the activitis by the column “Resources” or “Name” or other columns. At the moment the only column that permit to do this action in the column “Begin date”.

It is not possible technically in GanttProject and, unless your activities is just a plain list, doesn’t make too much sense in general, because of task structure and dependencies. We can’t show two tasks with name “A” and “Z” apart of each other if they sit under the same summary task.
What’s the purpose of such sorting anyway?
