I'm new - how to show entire task name?

The task names are truncated even though there is much room between what is truncated and the begin date. How can I get more text of the task name to show/print?

It is a bug which will be fixed in the next update.

I’ve also encountered this issue and a reasonable workaround in the current version (2.8.8) is to use a custom column instead of the Name column.

Moving the task up or down corrects the name, as does indenting or outdenting

Thanks for the workarounds but I believe this should be reported as a bug too.

I think I’ve found the solution to our problem with small name text =)
Go to: “Edit - Settings - Gantt Chart - Task name prefix” and add to the text “task” more space or other symbols, e.g.
"task "
or
“task___________________________”
and click “Ok”.
It`s working! :smiley:

Beware that this really adds spaces to the task names, which may or may not be what you really want.
