I have a cloud project where I invited several persons to join.
Some people got Authentication Validity for 999 hours.
Some people only have access ‘until GanttProject is closed’. If they indicate ‘custom period’ following message keeps showing ‘Creating access token…’ Sometimes this works, sometimes this person does not have access…
how to fix this?
If your colleagues use Chrome, please aks them to visit the ganttproject.cloud site settings by this URL:
chrome://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fganttproject.cloud
Scroll to the bottom of the page and make sure that “Local Network Access” option is set to “Allow”. GP Cloud site needs to communicate with the desktop application to grant access, and it does it by sending an HTTP request to a port on the local computer.
If they use some other browser, please try using Chrome.
We’re aware that this step sometimes works with issues and will fix it in the foreseeable future.
