Auto extension of task duration

There are 2 task.

Task 1 starts 9/21/20 and ends 11/27/20
Task 2 start 10/19/20 and ends 12/11/20.

Now when there is delay in Task 1 like 10 days, Task 2 start date should not be disturbed. However Task 2 end date should be extended to 10 days.

Eg: it should be like this when there is a delay of 10 days

Task 1 starts 9/21/20 and ends 12/07/20
Task 2 start 10/19/20 and ends 12/21/20

Please suggest how to get this done with various settings.

GanttProject never changes the leaf task durations, sorry. It is the project manager who knows the task workload, not the software.

This said, you can emulate such behavior up to some extent by using a summary task with dummy start/end milestones. See the screenshot below
