Is there any way to automatically intimate the resources that the task’s end date is today and they have to complete the task?
Not yet, and not planned for the desktop tool, sorry. Eventually there will be notification options in GanttProject Cloud
Such features are now available in a separate tool I wrote that reads (& writes) project file.
