Cannot change start date in new project

My new project auto inserted a start date for 2020; it is now 2024 and under Project - Settings - Calendar it will not accept new start date. I am running versin 3.1

There is no such thing as “project start” date in GanttProject. The project starts when its first task starts.

thanks. Also will not allow me to change date in first task. Help again. Dave Hunn
