Can't Import csv file into Mac

New user Mac OS 11.0. The Import function does not work. Exported a small test file and used that format in CSV. The file imports one (seemingly random) task.

There are no values in this file in nearly all cells. How did you produce it?

It was just a list of tasks. I thought it would be easier to import than retype into GanttProject. I will just go ahead and retype. No need for more response.

I see, so if you just want a list of tasks, you need to format the values in the required columns properly. The required columns are Name (no special formatting) and Begin date. The date format in the latter column must match the date format which is set in GanttProject settings, and all tasks must have the date cells filled.

Thanks. In the interim, I put dummy dates in all the tasks, and the sequence imported fine.
