I just upgraded to Mac OS 10.13.3 high Sierra and can’t open the app. Below is a screen shot. The question mark is your app.
What if you just “install” GanttProject again (I mean, drag it from our dmg volume into applications) ? You may also want to check that you do have Java Runtime on your new Mac OS.
Ok so I downloaded it again and had to download java again. Maybe I didn’t hit the use every time button or something for Java last time. The app opens but I can’t open a new or saved project. I click on the project and it looks like something is opening but nothing shows up. The app name appears in the upper left corner and when I scroll through the open apps it appears but no project. And one more question I can’t find the app anywhere on my computer. Isn’t it supposed to put itself in the applications folder?

No. You can drag it into Applications if you wish.
