I am evaluating possibility to use GanttProject to manage R&D activities. I identified 2 potential issues, that have been already mentioned : Using equipment as a identified resource and automatically recalculate task duration if maintenance or repair has to be planned, and somehow similar, automatically recalculate task duration in case of resource being on vacation/sick leave.
These are 2 common occurrences happening during the life of a project.
Is there an update available on these 2 points and a plan to solve them ?

GanttProject does not automatically recalculate tasks durations, sorry (unless they are summary tasks which is not the case in your scenario).
