Is there a way to not have actual dates but a relative reference? I am working on laying out a project where the start date is fluid depending on funding.
You can’t remove dates, sorry. You can start your project from any date though (what about 00/00/0000 ?) and move it to the actual start date once it is settled.
Thanks. Seems like a feature that should be added since that is the way I’ve seen product management presentations for the past 30+ years. Start is t=0, not a real date.
@tvocke GanttProject does calculate task start dates from dependencies, provided that you defined any. This topic is about using dates relative to project start (rather than calendar dates). It is not about dependencies or calculating task dates.
