I can't install the software

I can’t install the software at all, it just says the file is corrupted and wont let me open the application

have tried to install through java but still the file does not respond when trying to open it

this software is ridiculously difficult to install, a tutorial installation video would be ideal

I guess you’re on macOS so here is a tutorial video for macOS Silicon with Apple M1, M2, … chips.
If you’re using an older Intel-based macOS, you need to choose a package for Intel.

I am using a HP laptop so mine should be for windows software, I have now tried downloading multiple different types of java software but still the gantt project will not run at all, i need a clear tutorial video for this it is ridiculously difficult to install.

Okay, here is a video tutorial for Windows

GanttProject uses a standard installer. All that you need is to download the installer and run it, as shown on the video. Java is bundled, you don’t need to download it separately. Hundreds of users do this procedure every day, and it is not “ridiculously difficult”.

I am very sorry that you have issues, but it happens, since there is a great variety of the operating systems, settings, antiviruses, sites where you download from, etc. It would’ve been more constructive if you posted the details about your problem instead of blaming for being “ridiculously difficult to install” and making me guess at least your operating system.

It would be helpful if you posted a video or at least a screenshot of the error and calculated an MD5 sum of the downloaded file, as described on the download page, just to check that you are running exactly the file that was published by us.
