Currently I use AdoptOpenJDK for Eclipse, LibreOffice and another programs. I want migrate for OpenJDK or AdoptOpenJDK? What is better to work with GanttProject?
If you’re on Windows or macOS, use the Java runtime which is bundled with GanttProject.
On Linux you can use any Java 11 runtime if GanttProject is installed from deb package. If you use ZIP distro, you need Java 11 with JavaFX modules. We recommend using BellSoft Liberica (full JRE)
I’m using ZIP distro. I had download Bellsoft jdk-18.0.1.1-full. Is this Java okay for Ganttproject? How I configure Gantt to use Bellsoft Java (JRE or JDK) - could you provide the page with steps?
You need Java 11. You don’t need JDK, JRE is enough.
