After clicking on today of the diagramm, a new task has been created with the current start date in 3.1, in 3.2 not.

The dropdown on top of the chart just moves the chart. It is not supposed to create any tasks.
No. After clicking on today I create a new task by CTRL + T. Then the date is not the current one.
It works as expected for me. The start date of a new task is the first date which is visible on the chart. Clicking “today” from the dropdown menu scrolls the chart so that today becomes the first visible date, Ctrl+T creates the task as expected. See the screencast below.
Now I understand. I scaled to week and clicked on today. Then the first day of the week will be taken as Start-Date. If I zoom to a per day scale, it works. Thanks a lot,
