Hi,
I’m trying to authorize GanttProject Desktop through the browser authentication flow, but I get the following error (see attached screenshot):
“We were unable to contact GanttProject Desktop on port 59792. Please check your browser and firewall settings.”
I’ve already tried:
- Making sure GanttProject Desktop is open before starting the authorization
- Checking macOS Firewall settings (System Settings → Network → Firewall)
- Restarting the app and retrying the process
The error persists. Could you help me understand what might be causing this, or whether there’s a specific port/network configuration I need to allow?
System: macOS (Dell external monitor, if relevant)
