SPLIT and BRAKE TASK -same gant chart

Hi, my first time using this software.

My problem is:

  1. How can we create a chart having more than one project running simultaneously as in this link?

The link seems to be broken (well, not exactly broken but it shows a search of “primavera p6” images, and I am not sure what I am supposed to see on those images). Anyway, create two top-level tasks for your projects and move tasks into appropriate top-level task.

I am trying to create a SPLIT or BREAK TASK. like we are having the dotted line. How can this be done? I am new to this gantchart software. Never used any.

On 2017 I read no such thing exist . Just asking for now are we having it?

Breaks in the tasks are not supported, sorry. You have to create two separate tasks.

i see, but then the table is not going to be on the same level (horizon). But thanks for replying.
