Resource Load Per Task

It would be great if in the Resources Chart, the Total Load column was instead just a Load column that when you expand a resource it gives the load per task. I guess this is kind of represented in the actual chart, but it would be handy to have a number so that I know how much of a resource’s time is taken up for each task, or group of tasks.

This comes up as I have multiple projects set up in the one project file as task groups. Currently I get around this by using duplicate resources and using a different one for the same person for each project.

Maybe I should be using a separate file per project, but it is good to schedule multiple projects that are running in parallel.

Maybe I’m missing some way of doing what I want already? thanks

Recurrent topic this one…

Can you show what you have, and what you would expect? I do not see the difference, sorry

If I understand the OP correctly, we are looking for the same thing: I would like to calculate and show the load of a ressource specific to a task (in other words: ressource load per task). See the below snapshot where the total load of the ressource “Employe A” is shown correctly as “8”. Is it possible to to show the individual loads “Employe A” contributes to “Work package 1” and “Work package 2”? If not, will it be somehow possible in the future to accomplish this using the calculated columns functionality filling my self-defined column “Task-specific load”?
